When our founder, Genna Myhre, first came to Norway, she held a master’s degree, experience from working across cultures, and big hopes.

Yet, she met closed doors and was told to “start from the bottom.”

The advice wasn’t wrong — there was just no one who saw me.

That experience became the foundation for Recruit Refugees.
We exist to offer something different — a place where people are seen, not judged.
